(Zephaniah 3:17 paraphrased) The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing [he will spin round in a violent motion with gladness, shouting and triumph]!

2/6/2012 Last month at a healing meeting, Denise got several words of knowledge for some people which really blessed them. About 30 seconds after she gave one man some answers he had been looking for, another prophet came over to the same guy and gave him the exact word! What confirmation. The guy was really blessed.  Don’t forget to come to Dave Duell’s Healing Meeting here in Colorado Springs on Feb 16. You don’t want to miss it.

This month we’re getting ready to take the conversion van down to Florida for some taking it to the street ministry. We’ll be working with a couple of churches on how to minister like Jesus as well as doing their Sunday services. We just received another invite to work with a youth group in Arcadia, FL as well.

Right after we return to Colorado, we’ll be flying over to Plymouth, Mass. to help out Charis Bible School with their Campus Days in April and minister at the Gardner Charis Bible School.

1/17/2012 As we begin this new year, we already started out seeing healing miracles down in Albuquerque after we did our song, Mansions. To read more about this, check out our newsletter. We made some new friends down there including Mel Tari and Heidi Baker and Heather Clark. God says get ready because he’ll be as big to you as you can believe him to be. He’s a big God and nothing is impossible with him.

We’re scheduling our next trip down to Florida the end of January, and may have to drive down because between airfare and a car rental, it would cost us over $1300. Pray for us and if God leads you to make a donation to help us out, we would greatly appreciate it. So we’re looking at either taking the Envoy or camper down there to minister at several churches, do some outreach ministry, and meet up with some divine appointments while there. Two weeks later we need to be in Charlotte NC for some R & R in the islands and then two weeks after that, we need to be in Boston! Lord help us with the logistics.

11/16/11 -- Miracles and healing are for today. You should have been at the Healing meeting with Dave Duell last night here in Colorado Springs. There were speedbumps all over the floor (people) after being ministered to thru Dave. Legs lengthened, gifts stirred up, necks and backs and other body parts healed . . . Thank you Jesus. Mark & I did some praise and worship before Dave started ministering with over 100 in attendance. Expectations ran high among the very young to the very old. It was so good to have Dave back here in the Springs and we look forward to another meeting with him in January. Just go to YouTube to check out videos of Dave’s ministry.

10/17/11 If you don’t know miracles are for today, you don’t know God! We just returned from Faith Family Church in Farmington, NM with Jesus’ interpreter, Dave Duell. Dave flows in the gifts of the spirit effortlessly and always has a smile on his face. We saw legs grow out, backs healed, strength restored just on the first night. The time of fellowship we had with Dave, his brother Ray, and Pastors Calvin and Nancy Lee was wonderful. We even met up with some friends we made from the Navajo reservation in Dilkon, AZ earlier this year. Don’t forget to buy your tickets to the Christian Rock Showcase at Stargazers Theatre Sunday November 6th.

10/8/11 -- We just finished attending a Minister’s Conference here in Colorado Springs, and Mark had been asked to play his electric guitar for the praise and worship! It always adds such a nice flavor to the mix. We’re working on our monthly newsletter, and getting ready to change the atmosphere at Faith Family Church in Farmington, NM for a 3 day conference with Dave Duell! Wow, if you haven’t seen miracles or God’s demonstration power you won’t want to miss this!

09/27/2011 -- What can we say to the world but ‘Bring It’! Those words we picked up from our friends, Danon and Amanda Winter, Directors of the Charis Bible Colleges in Florida. Wherever we went, nothing was bigger than the name of Jesus. We saw people healed and delivered as we taught and shared about the amazing grace and love of Jesus. In six days we ministered at several Bible colleges, churches, did a concert, and even dipped our toes in the sand. We hit the pavement non-stop as soon as we got to Jacksonville, FL and brought God’s joy and freedom to them.

Our next stop is Farmington, NM with Dave Duell where you’ll see miracles before your eyes when Dave ministers in the gifts of the Holy Ghost. You’ll experience freedome thru the praise and worship and prophetic songs we’ll bring. If you’re looking fore healing, if you’re looking for God, or if you’re looking for love, look no further. Just Bring It.

03/02/11 -- Switching gears is like switching fonts. You know it’s there, but you have to just take the right actions and it will all fall into place. We’re taking a brief one month pause from being on the road to regroup and get ready for the second leg of our East Coast Tour - ETC for short! Our next new thing will be to put together a new single on Finances for our next Scripture Meditations series, Volume 2. We’re also working on a new song that Denise got at a Minister’s Conference last year here in Colorado when Pastor Bob Nichols from Texas preached a message.

02/21/11 --We’re back in the saddle here in Colorado Springs. Home from the first leg of our East Coast Tour (see our newsletter for specifics). Next we’re working on putting together video footage so people can see us in action ministering. Blind eyes open, deaf ears open, healings taking place. We’re doing the work of Jesus thru signs and wonders, teaching and preaching. What a deal! Our next leg will see us in Massachusetts (calendar) next month.

1/11/11  Wow! Look at the date! Amazing that we can be a part of a new year to bring God’s joy and freedom to others thru this ministry of music, teaching and encouragement. We have more doors open this year than before and our upcoming East Coast Tour - Part 1 will have us over to Atlanta, Orlando, Jacksonville, North Carolina and Tennessee. We’ll be ministering in prisons, Bible colleges, and churches in that area. Can’t wait!

12/04/10 Wow! The CD party at Jives was great and breaking out the new CD with celebrating for everyone. Parody Queen even made a guest appearance that night. Next weekend another CD party at Pikes Perk on N. Academy. So good to have friends show up who can appreciate the efforts we put into this new project.

10/21/10 The artwork looks GREAT for KEY OF BLUE. Working on mastering the CD and sending it to get replicated next week. It’s still going over great. November will find us in NM and Chicago and Dec in CO and Chicago.

10/17/10 OMG, the deadline is just around next weekend for us to get our music and artwork over to the manufacturer. This, if we do say so ourselves, is the best work we’ve done yet, and KEY OF BLUE absolutely has gone over great.  This is a total bluesy album with a great feel. We’re also booking our road tour for next year which includes New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois and California. If you’d like us to come and jam with the Lamb, just drop us a line at soundministries@msn.com and we’ll see what we can arrange.

09/07/10 We just released our single, “Money”, which is a Pink Floyd parody that is now up on CD Baby for download http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/markdeniseabernethy3 This will be on a four song CD and we just finished vocals for Plastic Surgery. We finished the vocals for Zacharias and Living Sacrifice.

08/23/10 Working in the studio on a daily basis, catching the muse as it hits. We’ve got two projects going on right now -- the first is releasing a four “Money” song CD with two parodies -- Pink Floyd’s Money and The Squanderer (parody of The Wanderer) along with Money, Money Cometh and our new song Plastic Surgery. As soon as we get Plastic Surgery’s vocals done this week, we’ll be sending this off to CD Baby for digital distribution on iTunes, Napster, etc. The second project we’re working on is our blues CD, Key of Blue, which will have about 13 or 14 songs on it. We just laid down drums, guitar, bass and vocal tracks for three of these songs this past weekend. Today, we’ll finish the vocals for Zacharias and Plastic Surgery. We’re shooting for a done date end of October!!

06/25/10 - We just returned from a trip to Banning and Beaumont California and taking a couple of days in the sun at the pool. A friend of ours, Liz Thompson, just got married last Friday and her dad, Dan, performed the ceremony which was lovely in an outdoor gazebo complete with rose petals on the ground. After the wedding we were asked to minister at several churches where we got prophetic words for many of the people there. Wish we could say the plane ride back was uneventful, but there were some minor hiccups along the way.

Tomorrow, Saturday the 26th, we’ll be doing a mini concert at the Pikes Peak Christian Artist Festival in Woodland Park, CO. See www.ppcaf.org for further details.

5/30/10 - Just returned from Chicago and Florida -- what a great time we had. First we visited family and friends. We were music guests at Mark’s mom’s church, First Presbyterian in Arlington Hts., IL on Mother’s Day. The next weekend we were guest musians at Good News Church on the 16th. That was great and we sold out all of our Parody Queen product there. Next month California.

March 2010 - What a fantastic time we had in Belize. From ministering in the prison and youth hostel to teaching at the Bible Institute with the Rumbley’s it was a joyous trip. My bucket list got another item crossed off with cave tubing in the jungles of Belize. The men in the prison sang so loud it brought tears to our eyes as they worshipped the Lord during Agnus Dei. Denise had prophetic words of healing for several men while Mark played his anointed music. We hope to go back again in the near future.

We also had the opportunity to minister at the Dallas Bible College with director, Kitty Potts. During their College Week, we taught and did music for eight hours a day for two days. It was a blessing to be able to flow in all the giftings God has placed on the inside of us. We saw people healed and filled with the Holy Ghost while we were there.

2/04/10 - Denise here. Belize is one week away and we’ve got a great surprise for the Bible college while we’re down there. Check out our monthly newsletter to find out what’s going on. I’ve been doing battle with my website program all day, and still it’s not done. aarrgh. We’ve got about 4 songs for our new blues CD project that we hope to have done by this summer.

01/05/10 - Denise here. I’m going thru a bout of pneumonia in my right lung and just had a dental bone graft. Needless to say, singing is on the back burner for now. We’ve made plans to minister in Belize in February and a prophetic conference in Kansas City, MO in March. May will find us 2 weeks in Chicago as well, so if any of you would like us to minister while we’re on the road, just say the word and we’ll detour to your city.

===================================================

7/30/09 -- Wow, it’s been an uphill climb, but our website is finally up and running. Today, finishing adding the MP3’s for all the stuff on the site, whether teaching or music, you can get a feel for where we’re at! Denise just got back from several weeks in Chicago and Michigan, some ministry, some family stuff, and we’re hot to get out on the road. If any of you would like to have us don’t hesitate to give us a shout. Music, teaching, parodies, praise and worship, it’s all good and we’ve got our traveling shoes on!

6/29/09 -- Let me tell you about Navajo nation last week. What a supernatural time we had with our good friend, Dave Duell down in Ganado, Arizona.  As part of the week long campmeeting, we performed some of our original songs in the huge blue and white tent that held about 700 people. There were bands showing up from all over the areas, some local and some from other tribes and some evenings the preaching didn’t start till after 11PM!  They went till early morning hours with worship and praise after the ministry.
Dave was on go, with awesome signs and wonders going on all over the place. We prayed for people to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and worked the gifts of the spirit with others. We saw healings and people getting set free. There were about 50 of us on the team, mostly from Colorado.  This was Dave’s 13th year there. What a spirit of restoration that is down there, and the Navajo’s are such a sweet and humble people. They made wonderful evening meals before the meetings at night, we took a tour of the Navajo council chambers and even were in the office of the Navajo president, Joe Shirley.
The breakfast meetings were not only delicious, but had great speakers as well. The last night we did our song, New Thing, about the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and got everyone up on their feet. Sunday, we went with Dave to Farmington, New Mexico to hear him minister at a church he’s been going to for years. They had a lovely lunch afterwards!

6/22/09 -- Denise here. What a blast we had ministering as Parody Queen at a local church yesterday. People were freed up thru the music and singing. Mark put on his video hat and taped the mini-concert we had there. Getting ready to go down to the Navajo Nation this Wednesday for some Holy Ghost meetings. Don’t miss it.

6/07/09 -- We finished Denise’s parody CD, The Tune Remains The Same!!! After having this project on hold for some years now, this puppy just got out last month.  We had a super awesome CD release party, and have gotten great reviews from our listeners.  After we update our website and store, we’ll finally be adding to Facebook and MySpace.  All of my videos up on Tangle and You Tube will be reshot with professional equipment.  It’s all good.  If you or yours would like us to come and do some parodies with our original stuff thrown in, or if you’re doing an outreach and need some GOOD music, give us a shout.

6/01/09   COVER DESIGNS ROCK -- Our cover design for Parody Queen really rocks.  We ran over to Memorial Park and shot a bunch of photos and picked out some super ones for the album. Blonde hair and all!! It was a blustery day and Mark just chuckled as I brought my blanket with me for when we weren’t shooting.  That was back in April. I’m always wearing my custom shades when I do the parodies, but the inside cover has the partial reveal of what I look like. Very cool.

5/09 Hey everyone, we just had our CD Release or Launch Party and it came with personalized M & M’s with my photo on them along with custom lapel pins that we gave out. Again, very cool. The night before we played at a local coffeehouse, St. Arbucks (yes really the name) and two days after the party, we headed over to Chicago for a week to work and be with family.  Missed out on getting that great deep dish pizza. A shout out goes to all those who helped make the party a success, including the Jacquot’s, Florida Mom, Lavera, Jillmarie and the Martin’s. THANKS guys for all the help.  It was a rainy night, but there were those who braved the weather to jam with us!!
